Food insecurity is a serious issue across the state of Maine. As the economy continues to present financial hurdles, many Mainers are struggling to meet basic nutritional needs more and more. In 2024, Casco FCU raised $15,721.13 for the three food pantries in our area. The total raised by the Campaign for Ending Hunger with the help of all Maine credit unions was $1.3M. Every CLYNK bag used, food item collected, and giveaway entered all helped feed our neighbors in the local community. For over 25 years, the Gorham Food Pantry has served the needs of the hungry in Gorham, Maine. Casco FCU is a big supporter of the Gorham Food Pantry and two other pantries in our area. You can easily donate food items to the Gorham Food Pantry by ordering from their Amazon Wishlist. This is a super, easy way to contribute. From your Amazon account, go to ACCOUNT & LISTS in the top, right. Under YOUR LISTS, select FIND A LIST OR REGISTRY. On the left, select FIND A REGISTRY, enter GORHAM FOOD PANTY, hit SEARCH.
